“Sustainable Business Awards”: The Green Nobel of the Business World
Referred to as the “Green Nobel” of the business world, the Sustainable Business Awards evaluate the most responsible and impactful environmental projects in Turkey and the region. Out of more than 200 projects, Recyloop stood out with its innovative production model that prevents waste at the source, closes the loop, and drives transformation through local technology. This award is not only a recognition of project excellence but also a national validation of Turkish industry’s sustainable production capability.
A Revolution in Paper Cups: 100% Recyclable with HydroLoop Technology
Recyloop’s HydroLoop water-based coating technology eliminates the recyclability problem of traditional paper cups, creating a major breakthrough. Without using PE or PLA plastic coatings, Recyloop cups can be fully recycled within existing paper recovery systems.
This innovation positions Recyloop as a pioneer aligned with Turkey’s Zero Waste goals and the EU Green Deal framework. The project was praised by the award jury as a systemic innovation that prevents waste at its origin.
Global Brand Experience Transferred to Paper Cups
Recyloop’s founders bring over 40 years of experience supplying sustainable packaging products to global brands such as Starbucks, McDonald’s, Burger King, Kahve Dünyası, EspressoLab, Caffè Nero, Gloria Jean’s, Juan Valdez, and Turkish Airlines. This extensive global expertise has been successfully transferred into the paper cup sector, enabling Recyloop to meet world-class standards and position Turkey as a rising global force in sustainable packaging.
Know-How from America, Green Transformation from Turkey
Recyloop’s production infrastructure is equipped with high-speed PMC production lines transferred from the U.S.-based PartyCity facilities. This transfer represents not just machinery, but the combination of American engineering excellence and Turkish innovation. Enhanced by domestic engineering talent, Recyloop has become one of Europe’s most advanced paper cup production plants.
The “Loop” Philosophy: Embedding Circularity in Production
The name “Recyloop” combines the words “recycle” and “loop,” symbolizing the company’s dedication to circularity—not just in products, but in its entire business model. Every design, product, and investment at Recyloop is guided by the principles of reduction at source, reuse, and recycling.
