RecyLoop Sustainable Packaging A.Ş. hosted a high-level strategic visit at its Tekirdağ headquarters with Stora Enso, represented by Stora Enso's Eastern Europe frontman Mr. Hakkı Önder Öztürk.
As one of the world’s leading renewable materials and packaging companies, Stora Enso operates in more than 30 countries, employs over 20,000 people globally, and generates approximately EUR 10 billion in annual revenue. The visit highlighted the strategic importance of the partnership between Stora Enso and RecyLoop, founded on long-term collaboration, technical excellence, and uncompromising quality standards across the entire value chain.
During the meetings, both parties discussed the expansion of RecyLoop’s production capacity and the further advancement of next-generation coating technologies. Key focus areas included the scaling of water-based barrier coatings, the development of biopolymer and biodegradable coating applications, cutting-edge innovations in mineral and silica-based coating technologies, and PHA-based, fully marine-degradable solutions.
The discussions also covered RecyLoop’s continued investments in state-of-the-art manufacturing infrastructure, including the acquisition of advanced Party City PMC cup-forming lines, reinforcing the company’s ability to deliver consistent, high-quality output at industrial scale.
Commenting on the visit, Ömer Erhan Eroğlu, Board Member of RecyLoop Sustainable Packaging A.Ş., said:
“Delivering exceptional products in a truly sustainable way is only possible with strong strategic suppliers. Quality must be ensured fully and consistently across the entire value chain. Our collaboration with partners such as Stora Enso allows us to align performance, reliability, and sustainability at every stage of production.”
Mr. Hakkı Önder Öztürk added:
“RecyLoop has achieved a strong position by combining innovation with industrial execution. Their acquisition of advanced PMC production lines, together with the Sustainable Business Award received for the fully recyclable HydroLoop project developed jointly with Michelman, clearly demonstrates RecyLoop’s capability and ambition in sustainable packaging. We hope to add to their promising corporate track record with our ambitious collaborative projects in the pipeline."
The visit reaffirmed the long-term scope of the RecyLoop–Stora Enso strategic partnership, with a shared commitment to research, industrial scalability, and the commercialization of high-performance, environmentally responsible packaging solutions for global markets.
